Here.
I belong in places I never wanted to belong
I don’t belong in places I always thought I should
It’s okay
I’m okay
I belong in places where I am heard
I don’t belong in places I am silenced
I exist
I’m allowed
I belong in places I am supported
I don’t belong in places I am belittled
I am not alone
I am a part
I choose where to belong
I choose what to believe
My story could bring many to their knees
But it has brought me to my feet
Holding my praying hands to my third eye.
I know. I exist. I’m okay.
I’m alive.
I’m free.
I belong.
