Breathe in to find the courage,

Breathing out to cleanse my soul,

No matter what else happens,

Alive is this body’s goal.

It flows in through the left side

And back out through the right one.

This blood flows through my body

It’s warm, my internal sun.

The neurons fire, this I know,

For thoughts they come and of course

They go. This brain is mine and

I’m grateful for its vast force.

With this body I exist

But there’s more to me than mere

Functions. I live, I breathe, my

Blood, it flows. I know I’m here.

But Why?

I’m here to use my heart and

Soul. I’m here to use my mind.

I’m here to bring light and peace

To those who are left behind.

I stand with many young and

Old. I stand firmly on this

Earth. I will change what I can.

And I know I will not miss.

Strength is inside this body

Of mine. Courage will drive me

Forw’d. Fear will be pushed aside.

Truth will always remain free.
