In the midst of (1) the global coronavirus pandemic, (2) a black man was killed in Minneapolis by a white police officer, who now stands charged with murder for taking that man’s life. Evidently, those two things weren’t enough to satisfy our appetite for chaos. In an apparent attempt at satiation, that killing has now led to (3) death and destruction in Minneapolis, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Nashville, San Francisco, Detroit, Memphis, Portland (Oregon), Atlanta, Washington DC, Madison (Wisconsin), Denver, Albequerque, Windermere (Florida), Fontana (California), Columbus (Ohio), Houston, Phoenix, Louisville, St. Louis, Las Vegas, Oakland, and other cities to follow.

There is neither sense nor justice in any of those three things. Any words I write on them will only fuel the flames of ire in any number of camps. So, save for the 153 words in this post, I will write nothing. But I will share this:
